The Joy Rider Ultra Light Folding Powerchair brings you a modern, practical chair that is both compact and lightweight.
Before folding, the motor unit can be dismantled (if required) to keep the heaviest part under 8.6kg. This handy feature ensures it can be lifted into the car boot with ease.
The user has full control over direction and speed by using the ergonomic joystick. In fact, the chair even turns on its own axis which provides excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces.
An electromagnetic brake ensures that the electric wheelchair stops once the joystick is released. This safety feature will keep the chair from rolling forwards or backwards when on an incline.
The batteries on this powerchair have been approved for air travel, so would be a perfect addition for those who travel frequently. Charging the battery is easy with options to charge while it is in situ or off-board.
Magnetic connection
The magnetic connector can be quickly separated from the base actively without the risk of being pull break when split the rear section from frame, and will be held in place magnetically when approaching, making the process becomes easier, faster and more elegant.

Our delivery drivers are unable to take any items directly into the property and will only deliver to the front door, therefore we do recommend ensuring there are two people present to assist at the time of delivery on orders over 25kgs.
Large items only -Once your order has been placed we will be in contact to arrange a convenient delivery date. Please ensure the contact details provided are correct and up to date. We also need to speak directly with the purchaser or recipient, before completing delivery of any large items.
